I am so fortunate to have spent many summer days with Shea-Lynn and her family and am now a passionate director of Shea-Lynn’s Butterfly Effect. As a parent of two young drivers, I am always concerned as they drive away and hope that they are making safe choices while they travel. There is a lot to learn as a new driver, and the stat that teens, as both passengers and drivers, have the lowest rate of seat belt use of any age group, (according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) is a reality that a parent cannot overlook. That is why I am committed to helping Shea-Lynn’s Butterfly Effect share the message with drivers in Canada. We cannot always control the circumstances we encounter on the road, but we can ensure that ourselves and our passengers are buckled up before we put the car in drive.

With a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree in Psychology and a Bachelor of Education degree, I am an educational consultant and certified teacher with 25 years of curriculum development and facilitation experience. I specialize in developing and facilitating educational program initiatives and managing school and place-based events for various topics including sustainability, health, financial literacy, and career development. I am committed to helping advocate for safe driving practices for our young drivers by helping utilize my skills to work with schools and curricula across Canada.
