Barry brings a diverse background in public safety, transportation, and community leadership to his role with Shea-Lynn’s Butterfly Effect.

He previously worked as an Assistant Manager with the Bank of Montreal before serving 25 years as a police officer, where he received two international traffic safety awards. He has also contributed at the governance level, including serving on multiple boards and working with Alberta Transportation, as well as supporting the development of Victim Services.

Today, Barry continues to promote safe driving habits as he works towards becoming a driving instructor. Traffic safety has been a consistent focus throughout his career. He is committed to supporting efforts that increase seat belt use and help keep drivers and passengers safe on our roads.
