I became connected to Shea-Lynn's Butterfly Effect through my daughter, who was a teammate and classmate of Shea-Lynn. As a mother of three girls, I understand how a single decision and moment can potentially change many lives. Knowing that they and their friends could have easily been in Shea-Lynn’s position, I was inspired to join SBE to drive positive change.

I am a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department in St Albert, so trauma and unforeseen circumstances are something that I am familiar with. These tragedies often require extensive support. Contributing to this initiative to prevent even one tragic accident makes my involvement worthwhile.

I have extensive board experience, having served initially on the Twin and Triplet board organizing group activities for parents and then later on the Dynamyx Gymnastics Club board for seven years. There, in the president position, I led the board and staff in opening a new facility, a task that required significant dedication and trust. Additionally, I have coached young girls, imparting valuable life lessons both on and off the court.

My personal connection and professional experience will be valuable assets to the board. I am committed to creating change through a strong strategic plan and focusing on the mission of Shea-Lynn's Butterfly Effect.
