I am Shea-Lynn's gramma. Her tragic death was unexpected and preventable – if only she had secured her seat belt. I have played that tape a thousand times in my mind. I will never know if Shea had unlocked her belt for a minute or ten. In any case, knowing won’t bring her back. However, knowing that the efforts of Shea-Lynn's Butterfly Effect is saving lives, one seat belt at a time, is worth working for. It’s my goal, as director, to collect no less than a hundred testimonies from people young and old who cite personal examples of positive behaviour when it comes to seat belt and driver safety practices. If 100 can influence 100 who influence 100, countless families will be spared gut-wrenching heartache. This is a mission worth my effort and dollars.

To my role as director, I bring many business development and board skills. I was the founder and CEO of Integrated Performance Systems Inc. and draw from a wealth of experience as either a president, chair or director on multiple boards and committees.
