While the exchange rate will always fluctuate, we wanted to provide our American donors with an estimate of what to calculate when making a donation:

Online Platform
Zeffy is the official online fundraising platform that Shea-Lynn's Butterfly Effect has registered to use. With Zeffy, we receive every dollar a donor pledges, as it is 100% free for non-profits to use. It is secure and an efficient way for individuals and organizations to contribute to our cause.
How it Works: Zeffy relies entirely on voluntary contributions from donors. At the payment confirmation step, donors have the option to contribute to Zeffy. This is in addition to the donation being made to Shea-Lynn's Butterfly Effect. If you would like to support their services, you can adjust your donation to reflect your support, but never feel obliged to do so.
Ongoing Donations: Donations made on an ongoing basis are a welcomed way to support our services! They give Shea-Lynn’s Butterfly Effect the ability and security to plan for the future. If you are considering giving to Shea-Lynn's Butterfly Effect in the form of a recurring gift, know that you are in control. You can increase, decrease, pause or stop your donations at any time. We are incredibly grateful for your generosity and we thank you for helping to make a difference!
Your donation will automatically be processed on your credit card on the 1st business day of each month.
Tax Receipts
Shea-Lynn's Butterfly Effect charitable status is pending. Until such time that the Canada Revenue Agency recognizes us as a registered charity, we are not able to provide a tax receipt.
Donation Refund Policy
Donations are non-refundable.
